  • @isbadu Don't worry. The Wobble is still around. watch?v=fE_64SdD27w

  • @lucripet Thank you. My personal belief is the destruction of the traditional family leading to unparented/unsocialized kids has brought us to the culture of entitlement and disrespect we currently experience.

  • @salemst Well said salem. But I think it goes deeper than that with todays kids. Much if not all of how they are is a result of sparing the rod and spoiling the child. I too feel that "values" is one area of development that many have no concept. Sad and too bad for society and you may be correct in your summation that ....we would not have the societal problems we have...today.

  • Anyone listen to the words of this great song? Do we hear any message like this today anywhere today?

If kids today heard this type of message and had these values we wouldn't have the societal problems we have. Great message for girls.

    Bill

  • Jan, you sound so good.

    Many thanks.

The Wobble I've never heard of. But The Slop I have have heard of. My mother use to do it back in the early 60's when I was a kid living in Berkeley, CA. I do miss those days. Too bad the hands of time can't be turned back.

  • who recorded this great song first? Jan Bradley or The Orlons?

  • This song, "I'm so proud", "It's alright.", "People get ready.", even "Fred is dead." all have something about them. They don't all sound the same, but they all sound like Curtis Mayfield songs. His vocal intonations got into all of them. I wish someone could write songs like that today.

  • @isbadu ommmmg ur so lucky!! i wish i was a teen during this time :] would've been so fun. i love the cars, music, clothes, dances :]]]] sadly. i was born in late 90's :|
