  • i love these cars

  • My Dad has a 3.5 L, fucking beasty.

  • @madtownmadman the 2.7s leak oil into the antifreeze causing sludge to blow the motor the other motors like the 3.2.3.3 3.5 3.8 4.0 4.7 5.7 6.7 are all extremely reliable the 2.7 is complete junk avoid that motor at all costs

  • @madtownmadman The 2.7 Engines suck. They always had a leaking problem, and mostly blew because of bad bearing. If you want a good sedan, bigger engine, and faster, seek out a 93-97 Vision, Intrepid, or Concorde. Own all 3.

  • ive 2002 es 3.5 and man its really got power

  • a drunk driver flipped a jeep grand cherokee over onto my 2000 intrepid about 4 years ago. jeep was totaled, frame damage and everything...my intrepid was repaired in a week and i still drive it to this day without any problems (knock on wood). no frame damage, nothing serious. although the crash test videos of this car make me wonder if i am truly safe if, God forbid, i get into an accident.

  • Does anybody here know why the 2.7's in these, and I don't know, perhaps the larger engines too, have such oiling problems? Like burning oil, and issues with oil pressure. I've seen several on the streets that burn oil, and have heard from owners of the cars about engine failure.

  • Intrepid  --> Charger

  • @LMA629 I'd say its better than it seems. I watched the test for 2004 and man the car is solid. A lady backed up into me in a parking lot and her whole bumper was smashed in, I just had a minor scratch on my paint :)
