@Rawk4Life Leno stuck around NBC even though he would have gotten fifty million dollars if he had left AFTER they dumped him five years ago for Conan. He stayed around, got a new show which he knew would take away Conan's ratings, wished Conan well ON his show and acted like his friend the entire time. He could have easily gotten fifty million, went to a new network to compete and not stayed around NBC waiting for Conan to fail.

Conan said the same thing. And obviously you didn't hear his reasons. It seems you were too busy watching Leno's perspective to get the overall picture. Either way, it was NBC's fuckup for creating the situation in the first place.

For those sticking up for Conan O Brien, you obviously did not watch the final episode of The Jay Leno Show. He clearly stated that NBC asked Conan if he'd be ok with hosting the Tonight Show at midnight instead of 11:30, and he said no. He told NBC "I will not host a talk show that starts at midnight," and then he walked away with $44 million. You still feel bad for Conan now?

Ok Letterman hating the Conan situation I wonder why hmmm When Leno is on he beats Letterman. When Conan was on Letterman was #1, you think Letterman has any other reason? Oh and that doesn't cound Conans first week or last week where he beat Letterman
