    Oh, come on. Lieberman seemed fairly reasonable in this case. The fact of the matter was that there was no standardized rating-system for games at that point. Sega had one (which it introduced because of these hearings and the controversy surrounding the Night Trap game) and Nintendo had its family friendly content guidelines. Lieberman and his compatriots spurred on a discussion that ended with the ESRB being formed and the video game industry having a political body to fight for it in the ESA
