Unscripted: Lou Diamond Phillips

Actor Lou Diamond Phillips burst into the big time with his breakout performance as rocker Ritchie Valens in the 1987 hit La Bamba, and his talents have been in steady demand ever since. In addition to appearing in feature films such as Stand and Deliver (for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination), Young Guns, Courage Under Fire and Che, he has played memorable supporting characters on countless TV series (24, Numb3rs, SGU Stargate Universe), and garnered a Tony Award nomination for his 1996 Broadway debut in The King and I. He's also one of Hollywood's top poker players, having appeared last year in the televised World Series of Poker. In this episode, he reveals why he gambled on a high-stakes career in showbiz.
