IRA bomb children's schoolbus - surely a war crime?

On June 29th 1988 the Irish Republican Army (IRA) planted a bomb underneath a schoolbus in an attempt to massacre innocent children on their way to school in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

The IRA and other Irish terrorist crime gangs always maintained they were fighting a legitimate war and only targeted soldiers of the British Army. This attack, and thousands of others confirmed the IRA had only one intention - to force all protestants from Northern Ireland through violence and intimidation.

One innocent schoolgirl was seriously injured in this incident bu thankfully no-one was killed.

Attacks like this were carried out on a daily basis in Northern Ireland by the IRA. They were eagerly supported by the Irish government (who funded the IRA in the 1970s) and the CIA (who allowed weapons to be sent from the USA to Ireland).

Due to the bravery of the protestant community in Northern Ireland the IRA were defeated in 1998 when they called a ceasefire, accepted British rule in Ireland and handed over their weapons.

Ulster is British - No Surrender.

This was a war crime, but anyone who thinks that this isn't as bad as what the UVF, etc. have done, or that what the UVF has done is worse than this, is deluding themselves. These terrorist groups, Protestant and Catholic, are just inhumane thugs.

I'd prefer a United Ireland but appreciate the Good Friday Agreement's stipulation ensuring that if the North has a Republican majority it will become part of the Republic, till then it's the Union, that's fair democracy, not these terrorists fuckers
