How to remove internet explorer 8, and install internet explorer 7

Here it goes: (easy steps)
1. Go to control panel
2. Click on programs
3. Click on updates
4. Search in the box for "internet"
5. Uninstall the update for Internet Explorer 8
6. Restart computer and you are good to go

For me, this automatically put it back to internet explorer 7
which is great. But for others, just incase, make sure you download a backup
browser like mozilla firefox, or safari.

Excuse me for the mistakes, but it was my first time as well.

Ya, the video showed how to uninstall internet explorer 8, and install 7. You are trying to go back all the way to 6. That is way too old, my suggestion to you is to at least keep internet explorer 7 or use google chrome, etc.

Ya. There is a way to remove it in XP as well, I have done it for a friend before but that was when I physically had a computer in front of me. Try looking in the Add/Remove Programs.

@MrThetechman there is very little reason to install internet explorer 7. ie6 is actually useful to have if you're testing browser compatibility for your site. ie7 is close enough to ie8.
