WHILE COYOTES ARE A COMMON SIGHT IN AND AROUND NAPERVILE RESIDENTS RECENTLY REPORTED MORE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR BY THE ANIMALS. WHEATON RECENTLY TOOK ACTION AND CAPTURED AND EUTHANIZED FOUR COYOTES, AFTER A SMALL DOG WAS ATTACKED. SOME NAPERVILLE RESIDENTS ARE WONDERING SHOULD OUR CITY DO THE SAME?   • Uhm, sorry to break it to 'red neck trapper man', but there are no 'native species of pheasant' in Illinois. The ring-necked pheasant is introduced and only there for hunting.

    And according to the USGS, foxes avoid coyotes, both usually display interspecies tolerance and usually the only foxes 'killed' by coyotes are the foxes that have been caught in, drum roll please, traps!
