A good idea of how big the universe is. We orbit at more than 70,000 mph around one out of more than 400 billion stars in our galaxy. The Sun orbits near the adge of the milky way taking the whole solar system with it at several hundred thousand mile per hour. The nearest galaxy (the andromeda) is almost 3 million lightyears away from the edge of our galaxy.
