MPH Speed Run - Segment 5 (CA 3)

Very good Slench battle, but I've done better. I re-did this segment about 9 times before I gave up trying to get a clean escape route. (Going through all of the data shrines/rooms without having to face a hunter/guardians.) I gave up trying to push my luck, because I saving in the middle of the rest of Celestial Archives 2 may have had something to do with resetting the guardians in the data shrines. Anyways, 8 minutes is still a pretty good time for this segment, clean escape or not.

This run will be submitted to Speed Demos Archive ( http://speeddemosarchive.com ) once it is completed, and the videos uploaded to YouTube are duplicated versions of the original video files. Any credits owed for sequence breaks, glitches, etc. will be given once the run is done.

Awesome job! A note on advice: when your in a room with a portal, you don't have to kill any guardian or hunters in your way, just leave the room. I'm nessicaryly pointing out incubation vault 3, during your escape.

Actually, you do have to kill them. I've tried leaving through the portal immediately and it doesn't work.

tip:im not trying to be mean but a better way to jump is if your not using your pinky finger for the stylus,put your pinky on the "Y" button or the"A" button or "B\X" button (whatever is most comfortable) and when you want to jump then press it with your pinky,its useful,helpful,and a whole lot easier!

It's too bad they don't mix in some different looking bosses every once in a while. Like...oh! It's not a Slench! Ridley just burst through it! Or...oh! A giant cave monster has been sicked on me in place of a Cretaphid! They really ruined bosses by repeating them.
