  • All of the Martial Arts are good for something. But if you're attcked by a 'street fighter' you have an increased chance of getting away - that's all. If you're attacked by two at the same time, no matter what belt you are in what art, your chances significantly decrease. Nobody's invincable. Even things in this video are strictly controlled. But study an art anyway, it's good for your health!

  • wtf is the official one when it come's to world championships and olympic games

  • @mattbodomtully yeah I know, in a street I just try to avoid, and even if I cant avoid, I'll fight, but I wont use my ART... I use all the arts I know and a bit of each, incluiding with the all stuff around me I can use...

    On a Street Fight ;)

  • je pige pas tres bien ce que jeux video vien faire dans le titre -_-"

  • @BadBlueBoy213 I agree I practice a Tae-Kwon-Do. Like all martial arts no matter what you practice its how hard you practice it, its not the style but the fighter. Close range clearly puts a Tae-Kwon-Do practitioner in a bad spot, but there is always something you can do even at close range :)

  • @ThePurdude you then rely on your ability to make decisive and distracting witty banter whilst you leg your arse to a distance at which shotgun shells would be about dangerous as someone blowing water melon seeds at you through a straw :-P either that or get between the end of the gun and your attacker, then he's screwed!

  • @mattbodomtully concerning what you said about being attacked by two people at once:

what if the defender has a black belt in shotgun-kwon-do?? hahaha :D

  • Damn, I do Kyokushin Karate and opposed to many fellow Karatekas or Muay Thai practicioners, i highly respect Taekwondo fighters and their style. Their kicks [except lowkicks, leave those to Kyokushin or Muay thai =P ]are beyond crazy, and if ihad to fight one of them (without headpunches), i'd push forward with a very tight guard and try to get them close range, otherwise, you clearly have a disadvantage.

  • The MA I chose for myself is TJF Jitsu. During training we do often have to deal with multiple attackers, some with weapons; it's always good to try and experience as many different situations as you can. This only betters your chances if, god forbid, you were targeted by someone or numerous people. The best practice of course is to just run if you can! I pride myself on having a better chance of getting away without injury rather than how much I can mess a guy up (but that is fun sometimes :-P)
