DBT is one of the best bands of my generation. I relate to them so very much. I'm just a good ol' gal from the mountains of East TN. I love Jason Isbell, they're sound is a bit different since he's gone. However, he didn't make the band. I love you Jason and the 400 Unit. I especially love the artwork on all the albums (Wes Freed). He knows exactly how to portray the album in his artwork. Everything about the Truckers come together to make wonderful madness!!

....hello people....followers of this band......a warm scottish welcome...;).....anyways i'll cut to the chase...i just got into dbt very recently.....downloaded thier records and the first one i heard was a song "santa fe"...on the new album.......that song grabbed me instantly.....blew my fuckin' mind when i gave the lp a spin.......i dont even know what jason looks like but this is the best of thier albums(in my opinion)so far followed by "a blessing and a curse" then "decoration day"....;)..

DBT is arguably better now since Jason left. Dont get me wrong, I love Jason to death and a part of me wishes he was still here, but how in the hell would someone say they they suck now the he is gone? Jason sure as hell helped the band, but he didn't make them. I love Jason and i love DBT equally the same. Kurtthompson is a damned idiot to say such a thing. You obviously haven't been a long time fan veey long.
