Superbowl 2008 Part 1

Texas artist and long-time Austinite Walter S. Falk III died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 10, 2007 at home in Rockport. For over 30 years, Walter and his wife Rhonda hosted an annual Super Bowl party, with exotic barbeque and an amazing potluck spread. With Falk, a noted gourmand and co-founder of the Hendrik van Loon Eating Society, a meal was always a Feast; a party always an Extravaganza. When the Falks sold their home in Austin, it was on the condition that the party still be held there every January (or Fe bruary), and so it is.
