I love what this no nonsense instructure advised about an inital, statement regarding palpation and inspection. He says "I will be inspecting and palpating for SYMMETRY< INFLAMMATION<DEFORMITY OR MALALIGNMENT<CONDITION OF THE SURROUNDING TISSUES,EDEMA, TENDERNESS, MUSCLE TONE, EASE OF MOTION, (for my test I'm going to also state when palpating I will also be checking for any crepitation). This will help me so that I do not have to remember to state it over and over at every site!
