Hello All

Here is our another Project of Laser Data Network. in this video you will see that we have connected a Network of 4 PCs on Windows XP. 2 PCs are Server and 2 PCs are Clients.
All four PCs can send and Receive Data Through our Developed Laser Data Link at the Speed of 9.6 KBPS. its a just a Test we can establish a good data rated link by using the same Laser Transmision Thoery. But it will cost a little bit High than this System.
this System can be implimented any where specially at Villages and Remote Areas.
This System can also be implimented in War Fileds without losing any time with Automatic Self Alligened Beam System.
If u need any details regarding this System you can contact me at my Email: jamezrojer@yahoo.com
Thanks For Your Time !

  • When i was watching your movie i noticed both PCs had the windows connection icons, witch way you used to conect? mouse serial port? (DB9) or the printer port? (DB23)

  • Thanks for clearing it up! I feel more confident going ahead with my project now.

  • Dear all,

thanks for your comments, actually the problem was bad alignments of the lens,

No Transistor triggering circuit involved in it,

Now the final version has about 97.6 Mbps speed of this project.

    Thanks for your time!

  • it seems so, but i fail to understand how.

maybe the response rate of their lasers are slow so they have to downrate the speed no eliminate bitloss?

still, i figgure you could just transistor trigger the lasers and then have the sensors/solar panels transistor trigger the signal on the other side

  • I wish I could understand why its so slow. I mean, its laser! Is it the modulation/demodulation that is the bottleneck?

  • hey, nice work .. am an MIS Student at Kuwait University and am working on the same project, "Sending Data Via a Laser Beam"

its due next week. wish us luck :)
