this is a nice vid. i need to know how to prevent strain the trapezius/rhomboid on the descent in both the snatch and long cycle right b/f the bell passes between the legs. is it just a matter of strength/conditioning? if anyone knows of any trainings in the Maryland area please let me know. I need to get this right! Thanks.

You use the deflection of the body when you lower the snatch from above, and you keep the upper arm glued to your torso on the backswing. You only use your traps and rhomboids briefly when you pull the snatch and clean as the backswing ends (in front of mid-thighs.
