"Dude, I'm going to build a rock crawler!" Ten years ago that simple statement would have gotten you laughed out of the hobby shop. A rock crawler? Seriously? How do you race it? Gates? Points? Rigs? It's amazing how much things have changed in recent years as rock crawlers are most definitely a big deal in RC these days with what seems to be a new crawler coming onto the scene every week. Anytime there's a hot new class the question of "when's a Losi one coming out?" always arises. With guys like Rich Trujillo behind the scenes Losi is set to release their vision of the ultimate rock crawler onto the world.
We've gotten a hold of one of the final preproduction samples to give you an inside look at this truly remarkable rig. From its included DIG transmission, low CG, LiPo- and Brushless-ready design, National Champion Rock Claw tires and more this is one truck that will set the standards others will be judged against. Beyond all those awesome features you don't even have to build it! That's right, the Comp Crawler is a Race Roller, assembled for you and waiting for you to apply the paint and install your electronics. Come along as we get the inside scoop for you on the 1/10-scale Losi Comp Crawler.

  • @TheToughtimes I have not heard that

  • Hey would this be a good first 1/10 scale rock crawler?

  • I'm havin trouble getting power to get up curbs and stuff I'm running a traxxas power cell 7 cell battery with a Novak 45 turn and rooster crawler esc my charger is an onyx 235

  • Im using 2s lipo's i use a 2s2p40c lipo, 35t brushless crawler setup from speed passion is a brutaly slow but epicly torquey beast for relativly good money for the electronics spektrum dx3c is more than good enough for full dig controll aswell, best easy upgrade... HOT BODIES/HPI ROVER EX (pink compound) best tyres for most rocks unless its wet are alot better than the standard tyres!

  • What gearing would you recommend, if using a tekin 35t brushed motor. Anybody?

  • So when you buy this thing its ready to crawl?? or what do i have to get? im wondering cause i just bought one thinking there ready to go out the box but im reading i need some stuff. . . Please anyone let me know

  • @qntt2002 You would need to use air receivers but technically yes. The main thing is you won't have the throttle springs on the left stick so you'll have a hard time getting in neutral.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom Can you use a Spektrum dx8 with it? I am a helicopter guy just getting interested in crawlers and I am not ready to invest in a new radio.
