In general most the fact are wrong because they are all based on old memories and Magazines that were biest to their location. Remember the internet wasn't yet invented way back then so information came from the TV and, wait for it, Libraries.

@krazeman30 - Alan "Ollie" Gelfand invented it in 1978, it was later 'refined' by Rodney Mullen in 1982 -- John Rodney Mullen was 'credited' with inventing the flatground ollie in 1983, yet he did not. There are still people that were around then, like myself. 8-]

@Blooperman122334 Double kicktails have been around since at least the mid 1970's. Banzai aluminum boards were the first ones I've seen with double kicks around 1976

Amongst your historical inaccuracies: Skaterdater was nominated for an Academy Award but didn't win one. However, it did win a Palme d'Or for Best Short Film at the 1966 Cannes Film Festival. The cameraman was a friend of mine and I was the manager of the first skateboard team - the Makaha Exhibition Team. If I were you I'd go back and redo your video from the beginning. Only this time, do your homework so you don't get so many historical facts wrong. Cheers, Bob Feigel
