I'd never heard of Rhydian before, but I adore Idina, she's just a doll, and the original version from Kate Winslet is fantastic; I love this new take on the song!

Hi lilsis! It was recorded for his first album: 'RHYDIAN', which went double platinum and is now heavily discounted on Amazon as is his second album:' O FORTUNA' both on the Sony label. He now has a new label and his third album comes out next month but no hint as yet as to what tracks are being laid down. You would also like I AM COMING HOME AGAIN and many of his interviews, especially the 2 Irish some with Sian Cothi and with Welsh rugby stars, subtitled. .Sounds even better in Welsh

@titfortat2 Eye candy factor comes into it with you blokes- ha ha ha! I never took to leona at all though i wish her well and have nothing against her- just did not like her style of singing. I thought I would have done differently had that voice been mine. i was pleased with Rhydian also because I could not find things to dislike in the way he sang the songs as well as because I love the voice.

@titfortat2 Idena is superb but neither outsings the other at all- it is an equally balanced duet!!

Rhydian can more than hold his own with the best there is, that and his incredible versatility and technical virtuosity are amazing- a rare complete package.

Having said that though, everybody's taste is personal. All I am saying is to stick to describing that rather than attempt to reinforce it with techical points that do not hold water. It does no service to the singer being put up or down.

@MsSweetwaters sorry thats what I think. Rhydian has a great tone to his voice. But im not going to lie and say its the best male voice I have heard. Idina total out sings Rhydian in this duet. And if Leona and Rhydian sang I think Leona would out sing him as well. It may be that im letting my loyalty cog my ears. But I dont think so. I think leona could improve on her lower register when she sings, I dont blindly follow any one I just say what I think.

@titfortat2 You're kidding me!! your loyalty to Leone is commendable but you did not ought to allow that to cloud your judgment. Our legitimate personal preferences are not also automatically sound value judgments. Good though Leone is, she cannot touch this voice- it is simple stunning and this song sung this way is one of its best showcases.
