This version of "Canal Street Blues" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, July 22nd. 2007.
Based in the area of England known as "The Potteries" (which includes Stoke, Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton and Longton) the band are led by banjo player Keith Garner with Laurie Cooper on trombone, Gerry Owen on sax/clarinet, Keith Prescott on bass, Mike Haslam on drums and on this occasion Pete Brown on trumpet depping for John Everett who is recovering from his heart surgery.
Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John Howell on 01902 756158
