  • @robertKUman0876 I disagree- I think they are light years away (for the better) from where they were before the set, graphics, and music update. I do think it is kind of funny that they are using a music package that WIBW used several years ago. KTKA is the joke. They have the least amount of news and barely their morning newscast consists of news/weather cutins. Finally, of course KSNT is going to be more outdated than KC (top 100) and Wichita(top 50). After all Topeka is still market 136!

  • ksnt is now called just 27 news. they also own fox 43 ktmj too. they just revealed new graphics and music using the overture series. to me ksnt is the worst station in topeka! they r so out dated now and compared to wichita and kansas city just terrible

  • I worked for this station in Topeka from 1970 until 1972 when it was KTSB.

You should have seen our news lead in.

The theme from "2001 a space odyssey" and a Nightly News special effect.

It was a new station for its time, having been on the air only a few years. All brand new RCA and Ampex equipment.

I was right out of tech college and a new engineer at the time.

Got lots of experience and learned much.

Sorry I guess I derailed the Bruce Jones subject. Just had to throw in my two cents.

  • Bruce moved to KSNT in 1999, where he took over for Jillene Wahl.
