Beethoven's portrait has been painted by Willibrord Joseph Maehler, 1804-05.
The painting has been made by François Gérard and represents the battle of Austerlitz in 1805.

Remember this piece from when I was a kid. My Mom played it all the time, and even now that I'm an old metal-head, I still love it. By the way LF, couldn't have said it better myself. ;)
