  • @agatematt Morris Howard (Major Hochstetter) was also Jewish. Interestingly, Howard was from Tennessee, and loved blue grass music so much that he was an accomplished banjo-player in a blue grass band and won numerous awards for his performances.

    Leon Askin (General Burkhalter), was also an Austrian Jew who fled.

  • Ironically, those who played the Germans were Jewish.

    Robert Clary, as Lebou, did a stint in Buchenwald for being a French Jew.
