"Thanks again for letting me stay with you, Marisol, I really appreciate it." I hugged her after I put the last suitcase down in her loft.
"Oh it's no problem, I have so much space in the big old place and I haven't seen you in forever! So, really it's no problem and you can stay as long as you'd like." She said as she helped unpack my bags.
"I won't be staying for long, I just have to figure out what I'm going to do and then follow that plan. So hopefully that won't take long." I said while putting some clothes in the drawer in the guest room.
"Well, aren't you and Joe going to go back to Los Angeles?" I forgot I didn't tell her.
"Um, Joe and I broke up about a month ago, but- well, it's a long story." I shook my head and continued to unpack.
"We, have time." She stopped and sat on the bed.
"Alright, fine. See what happened is we were here at a meet and greet and he met a girl he used to be in love with, Delilah..." And I just pretty much took ten minutes to tell the whole crazy story that was going on.
"Oh my gosh. He just broke up with you like that and now wants you back?! Well, why don't you run to him, not away! Girl, that boy wants you and you want him. Go-to-him!"
"We made a deal that if he can find me, then I'll go back to him. Because I haven't told him where in the world I am." I rolled my eyes.
"That boy will find you. True loves always find a way to be together." She smiled.
"Aw that's beautiful." I smiled with her.
"Oh, I know. Movies are so inspirational sometimes." She and I laughed at that.

"Hey, I'm gonna go for a jog in Central Park. I'll be back later." I called to Marisol about an hour or two later.
"Alright, see ya!" She was busy will bills in her office area.
I walked down the stairs to the busy streets outside and decided to take a taxi to the park instead of running. I know, lame.

Before running the outdoor track, I stretched a bit and looked at the scenery. Joe and I were here once just walking the paths, seeing where they led to. Of course we had to stay undercover so any paparazzi or teenage fans wouldn't bombard us.
After about two laps I decided to take a different course, explore a bit. I came to an area that was open with a lake/pond and a beautiful green flat land where people were just either sitting and reading or doing yoga or whatever. This city is so diverse, I love it!

The next day I decided to do the same thing, run a lap or two, then run around the scenic area I was at. I did that the next day, too.

"Are you going to run today?" Marisol asked while pouring herself some tea.
"No, I think I'm just going to walk through the park. Actually see all the scenery instead of zooming past it." I put on a heavier coat along with some fake Uggs and jeans.
"Ok, well I'm going to Times Square tonight. My friend wants to see Phantom of the Opera...again, so she's making me come with her." She sat down at the small bar/island.
"I won't be gone long unless I wind up somewhere else in this huge city. I'll surely be back soon though. Adios!" I waved as I walked out.

It was actually a nice day, there wasn't a huge wind to chill the air, and the sun was giving some warmth to the Earth. I stopped at nearly everything on my stroll, looking at anything. It just seemed like the perfect day to be outside and walking around. I came to the area where I usually come everyday, not minding that I've seen it and memorized it already.
I was looking at the lake/pond when I heard a large chatter behind me. I turned to see a bunch of people grouped around something on the green field. Some people started to walk away from it, but some stayed. I wanted to see what was going on so I walked over, but as more and more people cleared out, a white box looking thing (a big box) started to form. As I got closer, I realized it was a grand piano and somebody was playing it. The music was so beautiful and moving. I wondered if they were asking for tips or donations or something.
More people filed out and only a few young girls were circled around the piano, but there was a spot where I could see who was playing it and I paused for a minute in my tracks.
My breath was taken from my body, my knees got all wobbly, my eyes became slightly wet, my jaw dropped then formed a small, subtle smile, and I went numb.
Then I heard the voice singing, it felt like he was calling me to the piano, so I continued on walking towards it.
He was singing his band's song 'When You Look Me in the Eyes', I could tell as I got nearer, it was just beautiful hearing him sing every note perfectly without his brothers and only a piano.
I was several feet away from the piano when I stopped and he saw me.
He smiled a tiny little smile. Somebody who was really paying attention would only notice that Joe was smiling.
