buddy's never seemed to really develop as a singer though. its like the rest of the band has created more complicated stuff each album, but his voice never seems to get any better.

I have played live a lot. Day after Day after Day your voice is so strained its ridiculous and you can barely even talk. He holds his head up to hit the higher notes because its easier. I'm not hating in any way whatsoever. I don't think they suck live at all...

@boilingbubbles True. A lot of his lyrics have to do with being an alcoholic, too. I mean really, I don't care too much, SF kicks ass either way.

I've come to realize if you're actually there to see them live, they sound great. Not so much when you actually listen to the playback.
