Manchester Piccadilly Gardens 14th May 2008

This footage was taken from within the now notorious Piccadilly Gardens "Fanzone" in Manchester City Centre, on the day of the UEFA Cup Final between Glasgow Rangers and Zenit.

It was taken between around 6pm and 7.45pm when the screen "failed". It shows the good nature of the Rangers fans, the impromptu toilet due to lack of portaloos, and the moment that the crowd realised they'd been had by the Police in that the signal from the stadium to the screen had failed. A freeview box would have sufficed?
