Howard just absolutely refuses to answer a simple question. Could it be because he did threaten to over rule him? It's blatantly obvious from this interview that he did threaten to over rule him, but doesn't want to humble himself enough by admitting that he did threaten to do this.

Because Jeremy Paxman did it and got away with it ,from now on repeating a question in interviews will be considered not appropiate ONY after the 12th time.....They have to rewrite the school books for journalism.

what happened was really clear here. Howard had come along with a prepared obsfucation and when Paxman actually got to the one question that his obsfucation wouldn't work in he was unable to answer it because he very clearly and obviously threatened to do so
