Crazy Guy on the Subway

On a Brooklyn-bound Q at 10:30pm last Sunday, this guy got on at Canal, so we were trapped with him ranting his head off for the full ten minutes over the bridge. First he paced back and forth yelling, "Lazy, bum! Get to work, bum! You despicable bum! Bum! Bum! BUM!!" And then he sat next to me. So I snuck out my camera phone. Of course, I was afraid he would see me sneaking a video of him, so I apologize for the weird camera angles.. but the audio says it all. Ah... just another day in New York.......

@Mr111989 Often enough, unfortunately. Or fortunately, depending on your point of view. Usually it's pretty entertaining, but times like this can feel threatening... we were all a little scared.

This makes me sad. He is most cetaily mentally ill and Im sure it was frightening to hear him like this. But if you could imagine him as a 5 year old scared child who was probably spoken to like this...it makes me want to hug him.
