I thought the cornerstone of Capitalism was a free market. The people who are demanding this contract go to one company in particular (Boeing) , regardless of which company is better, sound like Commies to me.

Wait, let's get this straight. Final assembly doesn't necessary mean that it's an American made tanker. Aren't the major components of A330 which KC45 is based on made in various European companies?

Wow! Why is this so surprising? The American military always has the best possible equipment available to them. Usually, such equipment is manufactured by American companies but sometimes the best is made overseas, so they buy it. It's that simple! Oh, by the way - Airbus isn't French.

Boeing planes are built all over the world not just in the U.S.A. Northrop Grumman won the contract based upon superiority of product! Northrop Grumman won on 4 out of 5 criteria as determined by the Air Force. If the Air Force were to reverse this CONTRACT with Northrop Grumman, it will send a horrible message to the world about the way that America does business. We already have a bad standing in the world, according to politicians, breaching contracts will not help our standing in the world.
