Upon reading Horatio's comments about 50s tv western characters like the range rider and others being gay I want say get a life. Regardless what you say about your married life if I were you I'd examine my own bigotry and fears here. Something may be inside you are afraid of.
OMG! These Ranger Rider videos are soooo wonderful. My cousin and I used to watch this show all the time! She was in love with Dickie West!!! I don't blame her he was soo good looking. I was in love with the video Ranger on Captain Video. Thank you for bringing back wonderful, wonderful memories.
Thanks so much for posting this. It took me way back to my schooldays. They don't make'em like that any more. Simpler times. I'd best get on with my homework now...
This stuff and much more of it (Cisco Kid and the like) was screened on children's TV in Britain in the 50s and 60s. Even as a small boy at that time, I felt that such films played upon base emotions. More simply: these two "RR" characters created an impression of "poofy" tendencies. Not the sort of material to subject children to. Oh, and before any RR fan posts some derogatory remark, I've a good marriage and children. Again... not the sort of stuff to expose children to.

On the other hand, family guy Peter Griffin's cowboy song on You Tube is really enjoyable.

I found out about the Range Rider from the A-Team episode where Murdoch pretends to be the Range Rider! Great episode, by the way!
