Good old Helinikon! I remember a circle to land with a OAL727 in '80 during a night thunderstorm. what an experience!!!

Too much walking? If you want to see walking, land in Zaaventem intl (Brussels). That is an idiotic airport. Go and you'll understand why.

i miss good old airport ! the new one is more beautifull but u even pay the air u breathe in it ! the old one was romantic too

My dad was on a bombing mission with the 463rd bombardment group on September 15,1944 against this very airfield.He was Piloting B-17 G 42-31836 called Pig Chaser.
At the time it was being used by the German Luftwaffe who had JU-52 transports there.

Estos recuerdos del famoso "Hellinikon" y ya actualmente parte del parque olimpico desde el 2004, cuando cerraron se iniciaron la construccion del parque olimpico, éste es el "otro grano de oro" es griega, tienen similitud con el Grano de Oro en Maracaibo, Venezuela.
