What Is And What Should Never Be (Led Zeppelin)

I'm not reading comments on my cover songs anymore, because I get too worked up trying to justify them to people who don't have a context (other than "let's see who rocks and who sucks at doing this song") for them. The covers aren't supposed to impress you, they're just me taking an informal, impromptu, "eh, what the hell" type break between my originals.

If you happen to see these first anyway, I would hope that you'd be vaguely curious enough to at least *try* one of my originals (and see if they're any better), although I know there are a million other unknown people trying to get your time and attention too.

Enjoy whatever you happen to watch of mine, even if your enjoyment is limited to the smug satisfaction that you can detect (*gasp*) flaws in my performance (hooray, I bet you can tie your shoes too!). And if you're among the wiser people who appreciate seeing an honest person taking some musical risks, then I apologize if I don't see your comments -- I promise I'll see them on my originals.

All I know is I let the camera run for over an hour and just did whatever songs I felt like doing. Then I watched the whole thing and kept the ones I liked (mostly). So I obviously didn't think this was *terrible*, but in the future I would probably do more Beatles and Floyd which are more suited to my voice. And I think "shouldn't try" is a rotten philosophy.

hey i'm not one for bashing a video on youtube and you have talent on guitar cause i have seen you play from what was on your youtube page. Yes you had fun and overall kudos for taking risks! but dude..this is a no..no...especially on youtube...because a lot of people on hear are viscous no doubt and if you want pleasant comments you should at least work on your craft behind the scenes first, then post when it's perfected, well that's if your truly passionate about this, just a piece of advice..
