Classic Game Room HD reviews TWIN COBRA for the Sega Genesis 16-bit wondermachine. Pilot a helicopter against mindless waves of enemy machinery in this Toaplan vertical scrolling SHMUP for the Sega Genesis. This CGRHD review of Twin Cobra has gameplay footage from Twin Cobra, an action packed Mega Drive SHMUP for Megadrive fans of vertical scrolling shooters like Fire Shark and Truxton. Twin Cobra may not have anything new or complex in its gameplay, but what it does have is excellent gameplay. Fluid, smooth motion, big chunky pixles and that trademark Toa Plan music and sound. The game has 8 different difficulty settings to adapt gameplay to a wide audience of gamers. 2D 16-bit action explodes off the screen in full 4x3 goodness (unlike Fireshark and Truxton which keep a vertical aspect ration and use a side panel for info). Twin Cobra is an excellent Megadrive Sega Genesis game that can be found for an affordable price which packs hours of intense gameplay. Classic Game Room HD reviews Sega Genesis video game cartridges for collectors and modern gamers. CGRHD is a Genesis reviewer reviewing Sega Genesis games with a love for the 16-bit 2D era of video gaming. If you like shooters, the MD Twin Cobra is awesome!

  • Fuck S.978

  • Review Desert Strike!

  • @SCBianchi the playground competition was certainly good for business for both companies and was encouraged in the marketing, very cleverly playing on peoples loyalties and competitive nature.Back in the day,the new nintendo machine impressed us all with some modern tech and great new games, but to hear the same debate these days when both machines can be appreciated individually for their merits is testament to some seriously successful mind program brain washing technique..and a bit daft ;)

  • @SatoshiMatrix1 Yeah this was after Tiger Heli, a bit more polished.

  • @dannyofthededd I think it really shows how great they both were, and how evenly matched, that so many will argue with a bitter rage that their 16 bit system of choice is better.

  • i love hearing the snes vs megadrive argument twenty years after the fact..bleedin ell..they are both amazing consoles from an amazing era and you could go out with about £40 quid and buy one of each these days if you looked in the right places...everybody should go and do that as soon as possible if they haven't already done so by the way ;)

  • This game is RIDICULOUSLY hard. Best I've done so far is almost killing the level 3 boss on normal difficulty. Really fun though.

  • Picked this game up fro the NES the other day for $2. It's remarkably similar to Tiger Heli, but a bit better.

  • Without a doubt my best 16-bit game. Awesome soundtrack, addictive gamestyle, greatly challenging. Try playing the music on your guitar or keyboard at rlspeed!
