Yeah,I think youre right. Ill just add that the fact that Dios appears as a child and then as an adult is also to symbolize that he didnt had an adolescense,so its like hes just skipping that stage.Hes just stuck there XD

Dios' form here is very interesting. At first he appears in front of Utena as an adult, then he's suddenly a child, then an adult again. I wonder what it's supposed to symbolize? My thought is that the more adult he looks, the closer he is to becoming Akio. After all, adulthood = impurity is a very common theme in Utena, especially concerning characters like Miki and Kozue.
