  • was that manlichlin u started from ?

  • @jackzycmills

yeah, from the top of the läger lift towards mänlichen :)

  • so do you need a speedflying specific container and canopy? the canopy kind of looks like paragliding canopy just not as big. right now i only skydive but id love to get into this as well as many other aspects of parachute sports

  • @jamelinjones

Well, you can launch a small skydiving canopy, but its a huge difference between handling and performance. A skydiving canopy's main purpose is to let you break your speed from terminal velocity and land safely. The equipment we use for this is made for super fast and consistent inflations when groundlaunching. Also, you use different types of risers, mostly three of them, with good trim controls for various types of flights. The harness is different as well.

Give it some years of spending as much time high on experience worthy drugs, as i spend in the mountains and I think you will find that my lifestyle gives you a slightly higher life quality over time. Its not just about the kick, its about the experience of challenging your limits in the majestic and unforgiving mountain scenery, setting new goals, reaching them and the travel you go through reaching them. Memories, goals, ambitions, something drugs can only take from you.

  • @xHDxclan

    self-designated :)

you always have to have a plan for where you can land before you launch. In Wengen we also spent a lot of time the last years to talk to the land owners and the people living close to our landings to make landingareas were we dont bother the locals.

  • so so

  • need to change pants

  • @TheArcticChiller Interesting point. I look at some of those canyons and thought that it would be a tough hike out with ski boots if you didn't plan your descent well. Even if you know where you are, sometimes you just can't get where you know you need to be - been there and even GPS doesn't help you over that ridge...Heck, I get upset if I ski the wrong trail and end up having to walk to the lift. LOL.

  • @RDJim There are no real remote areas in Switzerland. ;) It's not like Canada where you could get lost. Know the mountains. ;)

  • Saw this on Rudetube :D

  • τέλειο

  • I now have purpose.

  • охуеть

  • Obviously there are no skiers where you go but do you take the ski lifts to the top? What sort of credentials do you need to fly from these ski lifts? What happens if you end up landing in some remote area? Do you carry a SPOT? Looks fantastic.

  • This must be one of the best things a person could do in there life
