Here's another underrated curio and relic pisto: the M1895 revolver in 7.62x38. This is a Russian revolver that was commissioned by the Imperial Russian Army, but became the pistol of officers and members of the People's Revolution. Pretty outdated even by the standards when it was made, it has a unique trait of being the only "gas sealed" revolver. This means that the barrel and the cylinder move to meet up, with the bullet's casing creating a seal between the two. This makes this Single-Action/Double-Action revolver the only revolver that can be silenced. It's a weak round, but was often given to party members who performed great service to the nation as a sign of status and prize

  • @birdstim I would. It wouldn't unsafe if he was at a safe distance and fired remotely. Also nagnat revolvers are cheap as hell, not because they are of poor quality but rather they SO MANY of them. So if he did destroy the gun the process, it would inexpensive to replace.

  • Hopefully I'll have one of these soon. =D

  • @peptobismol9 That's what earplugs are for... -_-

  • I have this pistol and buy up a bunch of ammo whenever I see it available. Fiocci makes a good round, but none are very accurate. I havent figured out if that is due to the gun or the ammo, but I have never experienced even average accuracy. I love the gun simply for its historic importance, as well as the unique gas sealed action. Definitely a novelty addition to my collection. Only as a last resort would I be my life on it! Shoot Safely!

  • @gunitup234 Not ALL of us would like to see this UNSAFE test. DO NOT shoot the .327 Fed Mag rounds through this gun. Catastrophic failure will result and the gun is too cool and historically important to destroy on purpose. Wise up a bit before posting comments like this.

  • Enough of talking about how the .327 federal magnum is too high of a pressure to shoot out of a nagant 1895 revolver. What about an abuse test. We all would like to see someone test an unmodified nagant revolver shooting 50 rounds of factory .327 federal magnum through it.

  • On camera this always sounds so quiet. Mine has a very loud cracking sound. That snap you get with a 22 but alot louder. Hurts the ears after a while.
