great job! Just ignore the biased rude comments from guys. They just probably don't like the fact that a girl can win at grappling against boys. They will also try to justify out of their asses some reason why the guy didn't win
-
@jorgekluney but she is "playing around" just as much as the guy and she has him beaten in like 10 seconds... it's very possible the result wouldn be the same in a real fight.

@MezzaSchoolGirl im only a white belt right now :) but i took 3rd place in teen gi and no gi novice (0-1 yrs) for my first tournament :) i did alright for my 1st tourney! i love bjj

Wrestling isn't just about pins. CACC, Sub wrestling, etc. BJJ is great for fighting off your back, but it just isn't as good for controlling the opponent. Looking at the upper levels of combat sports and sub grappling, wrestling is a hard counter to BJJ.
I'm not saying BJJ is bad. I just want everybody to be realistic about anything they practice and understand the strengths and limitations of what they do.
-
@Runz32 I've wrestled in grade school, middle and high school.... I'd have no problem at all controlling a bjj girl on the ground. BJJ takedowns are a joke compared to wrestling.
-
@jorgekluney No, I'm speaking for those who have trained in this discipline.
-
@jorgekluney Ah, no. As I said, I have been involved in BJJ for quite a while and can speak to its effectiveness in a street fight. Many street fights end up on the ground. BJJ teaches you how to take people down and how to fight from the ground. Since the goal of a wrestling match is to pin your opponent, it's going to be of limited effectiveness in a street fight. In BJJ, you finish a fight with submission holds such as an armbar where you tap or suffer a hyperextended elbow or broken arm
-
@Runz32 again, you don't know that. But I really think you're speaking more for the position of a horny male who gets "excited" with this stuff than anything else.
-
@Runz32 You don't know that at all. I wrestled throughout grade/middle and high school.... some girls were pretty decent at wrestling but in an actual fight? Hell no. The only guys who do think that are submissive males who get their rocks off on the thought.
lol, I'm not. I've got heaps of people at training and opponents in competitions that kick my butt on a regular basis. Keeps me plenty humble!

lol, thanks xanthicflex! But just do as I do- ignore them. They're just trolling for a reaction.
This was just a video I uploaded for fun. I compete in mens divisions where I have no advantages and a do pretty well as well. I don't need to justify the videos I post to people like
judocrazy714 and lovetograpple3.
Hopefully will up load some more vids soon! Laters!

Very true! Heaps of people out there that would easily kick my ass!
In the process of trying to upload a video of me competing in the men's purple belt heavy weight division a couple of weeks ago in Wales. It will give a better idea of my grappling skilss; as I'm competing against men my own weight and rank with no advantages...
Stay tuned! :-)

Hiya Mulisha01! I trained BJJ in Geelong, Australia. But I'm currently traveling and training around the world. This happened in a park in London.
Dreamer420- Hehehe, yeap. I was putting it on and he wasn't tapping. So I had to remind him... :-D
