@Raybird1011 Actually, in the time the world is in today, people are becoming more open minded to new religions because they have realized that bowing to their god has gotten them nowhere but acceptance in some societies. The Pagan/Neo-Pagan population is growing. There will always be those with other faiths, but Paganism is growing.

Secondly, you stereotype all Christians as Right-Wing Fundamentalists and, through confirmation bias, only see those people. @parrottfamily3 Indeed. I feel that fundamentalism is on the decline. Tolerance and acceptance will certainly triumph, through all the years of bloodshed and holy wars, I think people are waking up. I feel proud to have a mother who has always told me to be open and honest. My best friend who I've known 15 years, (who is a Catholic), told me that I shouldn't have to hide my beliefs or whatever. Teaching love and tolerance. Only good can come of that.

@philosophygoth91 Thank you! It is hard to walk around with any "questionable" jewelry on anywhere. I wear a triquerta with my son's birthstone that I got for my first Mother's day and get funny looks EVERYWHERE and the Christians even use the triquerta symbol!!! It's nuts. People say they don't care, but they definitely do! Peace! Always teach your children tolerance and acceptance. That's the best way!

@parrottfamily3 If I ever have children, I will certainly raise them with awareness of various faiths/beliefs. I'm also a Pagan. (Agnostic and Pantheist, with a blend of various old beliefs.) It's hard walking around with my Pentacle necklace, without getting funny looks. (I live in PA), I wish you the best. Peace. I hope for the future generations a world of tolerance among all faiths. ^_^

@DeloraLovecraft I just don't know how to avoid it without speaking up. People are still getting their houses burned down because they are known Pagans. I cannot subject my family to that because this is what I chose. With the way most people are these days, there will be no changing that either.

@DeloraLovecraft People are still this way (especially in Texas). My 1.5 year old goes to an in home daycare where they say a blessing before each meal and I can't tell them I'm Pagan. My husband believes in the Christian God, but we will raise our son to choose his own path. I went thru a 7 year search for myself religiously and still went back to Paganism. I will teach him what I know about every religion and let him choose, but until then, I don't want Christianity shoved down his throat.

..though I would like to learn a bit about it. Worked along side a born Pagan, and she was really nice!
