Nick's POV
It was my worst nightmare, anything hurting Alexis physically. I yelled for help, and looked down at her face. Pale white, not moving, I felt more tears come down.
"HELP, HELP!"
Someone sat right next to me, in a hurry.
"I'LL CALL THE AMBULANCE!" Antonio said, the waitor.
I looked around the room, as I see other members near bodies. I screamed all my anger, out with my tears streaming down, it wouldn't stop. By that time, the ambulance came in, and saw the massacre of the shooting. The ambulance people took Alexis from my arms, and took her to the truck. I ran with them as they ran to the truck, with all the other bodies. One of the people on the ambulance stopped me,
"There's not enough room, I'm sorry."
He ran to the truck and the back door closed, and the truck went off. I was in front of the restaurant, I fell to my knees and cried my heart out. I screamed my lungs out, the blame should be on me; I should have protected her.
"ALEXISSS!!!!!!!!!!!"
A few minutes later, a policeman came up to me, and picked me up to my feet:
"I'm sorry, sir this is now a blocked area."
I bend underneath the caution tape, as cameras went flashing on me. I pushed the cameras and blocked my face, and ran off. The limo driver wouldn't be there for another hour, so I need to get home. I ran through my front door, I saw everyone on the couch. I took off my coat, and you can see blood on my white undershirt. They gasped and stood up immediately,
"WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"Ale-xis, s-he got s-hot."
"Oh no no no no, I need to call her parents immediately!" My mom said frantically and running out of the room. Joe and Kevin came to my side and lifted me up, as I barely stood up by the thought of Alexis.
"I need to go to the hospital."
I ran out of the room, and got my car keys. I unlocked my car and turned the engine on. I drove off, I saw behind me, Kevin and the whole family. I sped up to the St. Levington's hospital, and ran directly to the emergency room.
"ALEXIS JOHNSON!" I yelled hurriedly.
"She's in surgery right now, please wait." The nurse replied soflty.
I fell down on the chair and buried my head in my knees. I didn't want my brothers to see me cry. Kevin and Joe sat next to me, try to comfort me; but it didn't do anything. All I need was to see Alexis, and tonight I was planning to tell her that, I love her. A doctor and few other people came out, and looked at the paperwork.
"Alexis Johnson's family?"
We all stood up, even though we were blood-related; her parents weren't here yet.
"There's bad news."
I collided down onto my seat, as I looked down.
"I'm not finished, but there's good news as well."
I stood up immediately.
"She's alive and healthy (we all sighed relief), but the led in the bullet went into her blood, leading to her brain, so she lost some of her memory. She will have it eventually, but you have to remind her slowly."
"Thank you, doctor." My dad replied.
I closed my eyes, and sat down. Alexis lost her memory, how about if she forget me, and how we met after 4 years of not seeing each other. I got her information of what room she is in and waited til my turn as her parents wanted to see her. They walked out and looked at me; it was my time alone with Alexis. I walked in, and looked at her, and sat next to her.
"Nick, GET OUT, I don't want to see you, someone who doesn't remember there best friend after 4 years, doesn't deserve it!" She yelled at me, right when I got in the room.
".......Oh no..." I said under my breath.
