  • Man, I miss this line up of the Allman Brothers Band SO MUCH...I mean, don't get me wrong, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes are a good team and Oteil Burbridge is probably one of the best bass players on the planet and I did really like Jack Pearson, but I grew up with this line up and the band was never the same for me after Warren and Woody (R.I.P.) left. What a great friggin version of this song too. I never knew how good I had it when I saw this line up a buncha times in the early-mid 90s.

  • Every time I think Warren has got so much better over the years I just come back to this one and realize that he has been fucking AWESOME FOREVER. I love getting older with Warren. The interaction between Warren and Allen at 3:10 on is something that makes me smile. No wonder they went on to make more beautiful music.

  • My favorite Warren Haynes solo. Magnificent!!!

  • Warren is the man. Never miss a chance to catch Govt Mule.

  • I love Dickey! I really love him!!! Great voice, and he's a real Gibson slinger! To bad the boys couldn't work it out and stay together. But then again, after seeing a resent interview with Dickey, at age 66 or something, I can understand why he isn't in the band anymore. He was, during the interview, really high on something. Sad, but there you go....

  • Great Post Thanks !!!
