I was at work and decided to show what happens when you take a high power magnet to a CRT screen. It doesn't work with LCD screens. Keep this magnet away from credit card, hard drives, floppy disks, and your own CRT screens and TVs.

PS: I know it's short and low-quality. I blame the PoS video recorder in my phone. The longest it can let me record is 15 seconds. :( Don't know why...

What is it with people that don't read the description or previous comments on the FIRST PAGE before they comment?

I clearly say don't do this to hard drives or CRT computer screens. Also, I fixed one of the monitors using a powerful magnet because another employee left another magnet on top of it.

  • @OniLinkSword Wow. I didn't know employees regularly carried around high powered magnets.

  • @thefinalfrontier1701 We sold a lot of products that had high power magnets. It was common.

  • About your phone only making 15 second videos. That's the preset limit for sending video messages. It might be possible to change your recording limitation in your camera options.

  • @JaysonSR I hacked my phone a long time ago and took away the limitation. There was no real reason for the limit to exist. The phone could record as long as it had memory. There was no buffering limitation.

I said to keep it away from CRT monitors in the description. Try reading that next time. Also, you can use a magnet to fix any previous damage caused by another magnet. I had to do that to a few at my old job.

It's most likely a LCD screen then. ;)
