remember north tower damage? at 88-90 floor? let's take that top piece and make a duplicate and put it in mid air next to the tower. now we have two pieces, one above the north tower and one in mid air, right next to it. DROP THEM BOTH. one falls through air and one falls THROUGH the north tower as seen on tv. WHY DO BOTH HIT THE GROUND IN 10 Seconds, shouldn't the piece above the tower, having to fall through a building, take longer to hit the ground??? not on 9/11. it took 10 seconds. think about it. what truth you see is the truth, no matter how horrible this seems. it's true. the three (3) towers were brought down by explosives. wake up and smell the coffee. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE ???

I love how hippies are all demolition experts and engineers. How would know if jet fuel burned hot enough to melt the steel and have floors crash in on eachother or if explosives destroyed them? You don't.

Peter Jennings was a class act. He had so many memorable moments in his career but none like this one. I ALWAYS turned to him for my news. It started when he was the only anchor to refuse to show the body of the UN General hung in Lebanon. I knew he wasn't in it for sensationalism and he had my loyalty for the rest of his tenure.

@werdchester The whole point of this clip was to analyze how Peter Jennings' first immpressions were challenged almost immediately and how Don reverses his first account. This comment was in no way meant to discredit Don. It was instead meant to critically observe how people interact while watching and reporting on exactly the same event from two different vantage points. Take a breathe before you speak. Why would Don lie?

Guy on the ground's FIRST comparison is to a CD, then reports back to clarify on what he really "saw", then reads script. See, that's just the thing--he was just as confused and as traumatized as the rest of America. But he put on a brave face and a brave appearance, and gave us the tiniest bit of reassurance during such a tragic event as a result. So in a way, that's even more admirable.

@bradleyt1 Guy clearly gave his honest first impression. Hell what kind of self denial does it take to not say it at least "looked" like demolition. Now we have the Patriot Act, resistance to "looks like demolition...especially building 7", and many Americans calling you names if you ask questions about 911. All this directed at those who may care most about America. Who can't see this is statism? Government is NOT America. Government should be tethered to ensure it honors America.
