Dalai Lama's VISION for a Compassionate Future

This video was inspired by Dalai Lama's
"My Vision for a Compassionate Future" released at The Washington Post on October 21, 2007. Thanks for Ian Griffin for sending the article. Dr. Steve Omohundro was so moved by His Holiness' vision, he decided to post it on his website. I was also deeply touched and I wrote a proposal to His Holiness' office asking the possibility for an interview with His Holiness to make a VISION Statement Movie. Due to the overwhelming requests from all over the world, I received a gracious reply from the office explaining the situation. Therefore, I decided not to pursue it until Steve Omohundro mentioned about the idea of making an inspired version based on His Holiness' vision as a dedication to his compassion and wisdom. Steve wrote the text by synthesizing His Holiness' original vision. I participated in editing, searching images and technical process to complete the production with Steve's assistance. The song Om Mani Padme Hum was also inspired by the deep compassion of His Holiness. This is a prayer to awaken our collective compassionate vision for a harmonious planet.
