You don't have to be born in a certain year to say what kind of music you grew up with. I was born in '93 and i grew up with this music because my dad would never listen to the radio but always play his Steve Miller, Yes, Queen, Pink Floyd (70s), Who, Deep Purple, Foghat, etc... around the house. So even though I didn't grow up in that decade of music, I can say I grew up with the music cause as of this day, that's all I listen to.

This came out when I was 16 and you can't believe the radio-play this got at a time when the radio was our only source of new music. No internet or MTV or cable TV. I didn't like it at first, but it's become the soundtrack of my youth. I can't hear it now without seeing all of my old friends at the old familiar places--- in my head. This song has become a time machine for me.

I gew up in the 1970's when real music was being produced, now a days kids listen to crap produced by Brittany Spears of Justin Beber. Today's artist don't even compare to the greatest of the 60's and 70's.
