and you don't TEASE the dog with a toy or treat. you reward him with PRAISE. i've seen dogs give out right in the middle of a competition pulling only a few hundred lbs because the owner TEASED him and YELLED at him, instead of praising him. a dog will do anything for his master, so if you need to use a toy or treat to get your dog to do something, then you're doing something wrong.
NEVER start your pitbull before he is 18 months old...his joints and bones need time to mature before putting strain on them. And you don't start out with 300 lbs. You start with 10-20 lbs, and move up in distance first, then when they can go a long way you add a few lbs and go back to a shorter distance and repeat.
@paint5700 hang a rope about 6 inch over his head height and leave lock on to while holding himslef up this will improve his upper body muscle then get him in to swimming when ur dog last approx 20 minutes holding himself up go and buy a harness start with about 200 pound and build ur way up to small cars then this :L
Your pits are amazing, how would I go about training my dog to be able to look similar to yours. Mines only 10.5 months old, I take him out 2 to 3 times a day. Check him out, he's called scar because of the mark on his head, Any advice you could give me would be appreciated
