That is my Rx8 in the video it only has a turbo xs catback and a k&n drop in filter. it has a cat on it for the race but with the cat off i made 202 whp on a mustang dyno.

Money is low for many now and there are few that race. even my friend may not race at road atlanta next year cause of that. Fwd can handle well too. I agree with you. Its hard to take a car like the 8 and put the money needed to make it very competetive in this economy. Speedsource does it for endurance racing but, most are turning to Miatas as you can see.

The sentras that I saw were in B stock and D stock modified I think. The turbo sentra was killing it though. It was in first place in its class until it hit some cones. If you know of any SCCA events on youtube with rx8s let me know. I would like to see how one does.

They are unique. I like the suicide doors and they are smooth. But the other kid saying fwd cars cannot handle well is ignorant. You are right; for what it is the rx8 is nice. In the class rx8s are in in SCCA aren't miata's? Those things dominate SCCA as girlie as they are. S2000s dominate in SCCA events as well. I have honestly seen no rx8s in any. I would think their lack of torque would be a disadvantage as they cannot get up to speed in a short distance.

My friend races in them all the time. they are excellent cars. You and I have had this discussion a long time ago. the 8 is good for what it is and has no true comparison as it is unique. Minis are not in the same class. I am not arguing with you but, the 8 is on par with some supercars when handling is concerned. I just like that they seat 4 and are cheaper on insurance than cars that are true sports cars.
