i remeber landing in an Airbus A340. I think it was on autoland to. Smooth as silk!
The fly by wire controls are amazing! Ads far greater precision to control over winged surfaces than traditional mechanical controls

Being familiar to the A32X serries, can you answer a questionf or me? Is the master warning a single continuous dinging (like a looping master caution) or a triad/cav charge like the A/P disconnect?

"retard" is a reminder to "retard" the thrust levers to idle before touchdown.
"Radar height" is the height of the main wheels above the surface measured by a radar altimeter (also called radio altimeter as opposed to barometric altimeter))
