The Vocalist is Jimmy Sabater who was the English voice for the Joe Cuba Band. My mom's cousin. RIP.

havoc used this on the intro to mobb deep - up north trip but the instruments in the backround sound a little different, another version of this song floating around?

Thank you for exposing me to Joe Cuba! Maybe that is unbelievable that I have not heard of him... but I have always loved this song, and have not heard it for many years. Can always count on you for the best oldies.
