@emurccmailliw This smoke is just a water vapor. Sodium hydroxide (which is product of reaction between sodium and water) is not toxic but water will be more alkaline. It probably will a negative impact to aquatic life until pH will normalising. However water volume in lake is too big - unlikely alkalinity changing will be significant.
