mattyabsley, you're comfortable playing semantics. Stay focused and acknowledge the existence of some "thing" responsible for the initial force/energy of the Big Bang. You won't state to yourself the necessity for the existence of this "thing." You don't search for the truth. Always a pedantic response to a true statement for some "thing" responsible for the existence of the universe.
Definitions of this "thing" will follow, sans any input this your obstinate frame of mind.

... WUT ZAH FUNK?

mergatroidal - Ignore the fact that all of your claims are nonsense and go for some random nonsense about whether or not i drink too much coffee/beer? Yeah, that furthers your moronic argument. You made some pretty big claims and when they are shown to be complete bullshit you resort to that? How very grown up of you. Also if you are attempting to be funny then at least fucking know what you are saying, it's aye, not eye! Dipshit.
-
Wow, mattyabsley drinks way too much coffee, or beer. The poor guy cannot stay focused ..., so it goes.
"Beam me up, Scotty."
"... 'eye, Captain."

mergatroidal - And finally, the main claim that i had problems with was you stated that western schools don't teach critical thinking, without anything to back up your statement. I went to a western school and it's quite clear that i am offering more than enough critical thinking to question your dumb ass, therefore, your original claim is false. Someone had to teach me. Could that be a western school you condescending fucking prick?

THE UNIVERSE IF FLAT!!! MEANING THE EARTH IS FLAT ASWELL!!!
PWNED

mergatroidal - So we are still looking for evidence to back up your claims, all you have is a little idol philosophy and a demand to choose between two answers which you provide. For example, you still haven't proved that the universe you say had to come from somewhere even exists. Past i think therefore I am, everything you are arguing about is based on presumptions. In other words, no matter how stupid this sounds, it is another option/answer to your question which you don't offer as a choice.
-
mergatroidal - We already know that some particles dissapear and reappear from nowhere. Or exists in more than one place at the same time. So i put to you that your question is firstly dishonest to begin with, it's whole purpose is to demand one specific answer. We have no real reason to say that existence needs explaining at all. Only religious people demand finite answers to questions that may not even be able to be answered. Only the fool asks a wise man for answers that can't be given.
-
mergatroidal - You are either trying to say atheism leads to your way of thinking or that all atheists believe that something came from nothing when to be frank with you, only creationists say something came from nothing. It has nothing really to do with atheism at all, but for the purpose of your argument it needs to be related, otherwise you really have nothing to argue about, and so this is why you do it, you make a strawman to argue with.

"Absurd to conclude the f/e originated from nonexistence, and so by consequence some "thing" is the origin of the f/e of the universe." - And what is your point? Why does this have anything to do with atheism? Unless you want to claim that this "thing" is God, then i would say i don't believe you. "Absurd to conclude the f/e originated from nonexistence" - Why do i have to have an opinion, again, what does this have to do with atheism?
The reason why this contention between atheists and deists exists for so long is because the Western school systems don't teach critical thought processes. If they did this type of back and forth nonsense wouldn't be worth one's time to bother engaging in.

Yes, if they thought critical thinking, Theology would be compleately gone and Deisum would be almolst non existant...

2:08 Geerup almost gets a clue - "This is Primate stuff". Exactly - a Lemur with Primate characteristics.
